On August 27, 2026. upon an invitation from the Sufi order of Darbar Sharif Mohammadia Kaderia, a prominent religious and Islamic institute in Bangladesh, His Excellency Dr. Rahimijahanabad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh, attended the ceremony celebrating Milad un-Nabi (PBUH) organized by the institute.

Addressing the gathering of Muslim attendees and followers of the order, the Ambassador delivered a speech emphasizing the necessity of Islamic unity and expressed appreciation for the steadfast support of the Bangladeshi people for the Islamic Republic of Iran amidst recent regional and international developments.
